BUZ INVESTORS FTSE 100 Midday Peek The FTSE 100 added 45 points, or 0.6%, to 7,469 around 9:30 AM London time on Monday, as recovery in oil prices boosted energy stocks. Also, other major European indices traded in the green, with bank shares among the best performers after the Italian government agreed on Sunday to bail out Banca Popolare di Vicenza and Veneto Banca. The DAX 30 rose 70 points, or 0.6%, to 12,804; the CAC 40 advanced 42 points, or 0.8%, to 5,308; the IBEX 35 went up 58 points, or 0.5%, to 10,688; and the FTSE MIB jumped 237 points, or 1.1%, to 21,071. Historically, the UK FTSE 100 Stock Market Index reached an all time high of 7547.63 in May of 2017 and a record low of 427.50 in February of 1978.
