FOREX INVESTORS BUZZ Chinese industrial production advanced Industrial production in China increased by 7.6 percent year-on-year in June of 2017, faster than a 6.5 percent rise in the prior two months and beating market expectations of a 6.5 percent gain. It was the steepest increase in industrial output since March, as output expanded at a faster pace for: Manufacturing (8.0 percent from 6.9 percent in the prior month) and electricity, gas and water production (7.3 percent from 6.4 percent). In contrast, mining production fell 0.1 percent after a gain of 0.5 percent in May. On a monthly basis, industrial production increased by 0.81 percent, after growing 0.51 percent in May. Industrial Production in China averaged 12.37 percent from 1990 until 2017, reaching an all time high of 29.40 percent in August of 1994 and a record low of -21.10 percent in January of 1990
