BUZ INVESTORS  Germany Services PMI  The seasonally adjusted Markit Germany Services PMI Business Activity Index decreased to 54.7 in April 2017 from 55.6 in March and below market expectations od 55.5. Business activity increased at the weakest pace since January and the pace of job creation eased. Input price inflation declined to the lowest in 2017 and output price inflation moderated.

Services PMI in Germany averaged 53.13 Index Points from 2007 until 2017, reaching an all time high of 60.30 Index Points in January of 2011 and a record low of 41.30 Index Points in February of 2009. Services PMI in Germany is reported by Markit Economics. The Germany Services PMI (Purchasing Managers’ Index) is based on data collected from a representative panel of over 500 companies based in the German service sector. The index tracks variables such as sales, employment, inventories and prices. A reading above 50 indicates that the services sector is generally expanding; below 50 indicates that it is generally declining.
